Logo design for Chinanimax, an animation company from China.
The client request was very specific. Bright Chinese red, complete with big Chinese dragon.
Well, given the nature of the company (animation), I gave the logo a very illustrated look, instead of what you’d find on an old Chinese furniture. A squarish border was also added to mimic the Chinese seal, but again, not too much on looking way too Chinese again.

Pitch artwork done for the Mediacorps back while I was still in PDDS.
It’s a direct mailer to inform audience of the season of “Chinois. Love. Woman” is approaching, and some events were about to be hold.
Unfortunately, both designs did not make the cut. I was working on a more “chinese” direction, while the client was looking at a very specific “Shanghai Nights” kind of feel.
The 1st design here is actually a Chinese table-like card, with scrolls to reveal the individual message.

The 2nd design was a series of cardboard which the reader can read them individually, or fix them up as a pavilion. The execution is pretty unpolished as the idea was reject before the artwork was complete.
